Portis on the slide
Washington Times asks are Portis's best days numbered? http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/nov/18/are-portis-best-days-behind-him/ Good question. It would appear so and the apparent reason is the offensive line neglected by Snyder/Cerrato. By the time they fix it, if they ever do, Portis will be 30, maybe 31? Over-the-hill for a featured back these days. It seems ridiculous that Portis fails or refuses to see that Snyder, who he defended as not responsible for the state of the franchise, is the primary reason Portis will never be considered on par with Adrian Peterson. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2009/10/portis_on_daniel_snyder_its_no.html
